Gabriel Warburton

About Me

Gabriel Thomas Warburton is an American actor raised in Thousand Oaks, California. Like most who pursue acting, Gabriel’s career started exactly as you’d imagine - in high school theatre. Getting roles such as Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie and Rapunzel’s Prince in Into the Woods, Gabe already knew confidently that acting would be the career he’d pursue for the rest of his life. What he didn’t know is that the medium of acting he’d come to love more than any, that being voice acting.

It’s not surprising, Gabriel’s favorite pastimes have always been playing video games and watching cartoons. Some of his most loved memories come from playing on Sandtrap with his brothers on Halo 3 Forge, or watching with all his siblings the finale of Avatar: The Last Airbender. And these days it's no different than before, except now he just wishes he had voices in those kinds of projects.

While pursuing both a career on and off camera, in 2020 when the COVID pandemic hit, On-Camera Acting work became triple the challenge it already was - as productions were getting postponed and work became increasingly hard to find. As a result of these circumstances, Gabriel decided it would be best to shift efforts mostly into the voice over world, and see what that would bring him. Fortunately for him, not only would he begin to find work more and more consistently, but he realized how much of a love he has for the voice-over profession as well. Finding joy working on the kind of projects he loved as a kid, and working alongside friends who are just as talented as they are nerdy, Gabe found himself in a community where he felt he belonged.

Some of his earlier work was for several scripted podcasts, where he voiced all kinds of characters- from guardsmen to anamorphic evil badgers. Afterwards he got his first video game role as Thoth(Twisted Jester) in SMITE, and not long after that, he would book a role that would change his life- Mydeimos, from Honkai: Starrail. Now, working more than they’ve ever before, Gabriel excitedly waits to announce the many new games and shows they’ve been working so hard on!

Outside of his profession, Gabriel still does what he’s always loved to do, play video games and watch cartoons. With the exception that its on stream now… Additionally he loves cooking food, building gaming PC’s for his friends, and playing card games until his brain explodes(not literally)
